Born in Sarnia, Ontario, Canada; grew up in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Raised Catholic until getting boobs and atheism at 13. Now living in a tidy apartment in Newton with a checkerboard floor in the kitchen, surrounded by wool, half-finished projects, and aspirations of greatness. Now living in a musty house in Chicago, tending to my grandmother. This sounds more noble than it is. Living in Los Angeles, CA. Who knows how long this will last.

I'm going to write a book this November fail miserably at writing a book this November. There will be much wailing and gnashing of teeth.

I play with contact juggling when I feel like it, make things out of polymer clay occasionally, and make huge scarves and cozy sweaters. I cook a lot of Indian food. On Monday, I have ballet class, even though cortisone has fracked up my hip joints beyond repair. On Wednesdays, I have Irish dance class, even though I fracked up my ankles doing same in high school. Dance makes me a masochist. I have a thousand dollars worth of velvet and embroidery under my bed. I just started fiddle and capoeira classes. These are new skills. Hopefully I will not suck. I do...um...stuff. Latin is sometimes involved. So is yarn. And rowing. Sometimes.

When I'm happy, I dance and sing and bop around the kitchen. Sometimes I'm happy. Sometimes I'm depressed, and those are bad and dark times. I don't want to be there anymore, and I'm working on rearranging my life so I'm not.

I am constructed entirely of elbows and collarbones.

I hate doctors with a passion. They terrify me.

I have an older sister who lives in Virginia with her husband and two small monkeys. I have a younger brother at Princeton, and a younger sister in high school. My parents live in New Jersey.

I graduated from Simmons College in 2004, after three years of study. I have a major in Communications and Political Science, and honors in PoliSci. It is therefore fitting that I make spreadsheets for a living. They are very clever spreadsheets, however, so that has to be worth something. I do not like women's colleges.

I make really good pie crust, and I can make a cape out of a bedsheet without damaging same, and I can make hobbit feet out of a scrunchy and some elastic.

I'm an INTJ, 5w6.
